First, let me say that I am very impressed with how much hustle those guys have as they’re spreading out the oil. Second, I live out in the boondocks and only nine families live on my road. No other traffic goes down my road; only the few families that live on it. About six years ago, the county busted up the old asphalt road, packed it down, and then used this method on top of that. The top layer of chip rock was only one rock deep; not even half an inch. Within weeks, the county was already back out there patching holes. Now, six years later, there are some parts of the road where none of the original asphalt remains. It’s all patchwork on top of patchwork.
That must be the worst day imaginable. You wake up to a fire cracker, and then it just keeps getting bigger.Humanity's capacity for self-destruction is absolutely astonishing and terrifying in equal measure. The tsar bomba has a parachute so the pilot of the aircraft has time to fly away to a safe distance. This shows how powerful the tsar bomba is.Really puts things into perspective of just how valuable peace among nations really is because all it takes is the push of a button
I was born during the "Great Depression" and I remember going to the local large bakery, named "Gorman's" Bakery and they would make loaf, after loaf, of sliced bread to take to the grocery store, for sale, and they would sell day old bread for 10 cents. Fantastic, and so appreciated.Around 15 years ago I was an apprentice mechanical draftsman for a company that manufactured bakeries like this. It really was fascinating to design and see the manufacture of these machines. Really a wonderful experience I had there.
I remember seeing this as a kid thinking this guy was a complete psycho who just did this for no reason because they never fully explain the context. Once you actually find out how this guy's life was unfairly ruined by the city, you start to understand his rage.Marvin definitely let the intrusive thoughts win. But after hearing his story I not only sympathize, I completely understand. Every man has his limit, and we as a society have pushing people's limits past their breaking point.

Watching this video, I'm impressed with myself. I was sixteen, in Spring of 1970. Completely by hand, I dug and chopped out a very large maple stump about half the size of yours for my elderly neighbor, Mrs. Johnson. It took me three days. I wanted to prove that I could do it. I shoveled under each root, and using an axe and a bow saw, I chopped out each root. The whole time, Mrs. Johnson complained about digging out a root in her lily bed, and that it was taking far too long. I'm not sure she was appreciating the enormity of the task. Every neighbor from the surrounding neighborhood, and member of my family (three siblings and both parents) came over to offer doubts and negativity. So I had too finish the job. I just wish I had the before-and-after pictures of my insanity.
Everyone nowadays could cobble parts of modern vehicles but this is this fellows way of life and I think we should all compliment him for what he does and keeping another tradition alive that I sense we will need to do again someday.A wonderful work. Very strong wooden wheels and I bow to you for that work.Every time I watch one of these videos I am amazed and humbled by the incredible work ethic of these people and how they seem to be able fix or create almost anything with so little. So much respect.
Great video! Hey I am familiar with the Ha-Go here at the Oregon Military Museum. They are taking special safety precautions during their restoration efforts because the inside of the turret is normally equipped with an ASBESTOS heat shield blanket all over the inner surface of the turret. Hopefully that has been removed already on your tank, however, be on the lookout for it! Just in case it is still there. Wet removal methods within a containment bag work best to remove that stuff. Good luck in your resto! Jerry
There's no telling how much work would have to be done by hand without these amazing machines!!That sounds incredible! It must be fascinating to see such powerful machinery in action, showcasing the advancements in forestry technology. Those heavy-duty machines really take wood processing to a whole new level! These powerful wood and forestry machines are absolutely incredible, making heavy-duty tasks look easy. The technology of sawing, cutting, and grinding logs makes me feel very impressive, but sadly, modern machinery is making people destroy forests more and more brutally.
As a heavy equipment mechanic, after watching Cody go over all the grease tubes and filters.... dude knows his shit.Cody clearly knows how to operate that machinery. You can see him rotating in both directions so the top doesn't unscrew all the way. Very important! Good work!I can watch this channel for hours straight. Imagine this guy having a TV channel with real sponsors like myth busters.
