This magnificent creature survived thousands of years just to be cut down and made into a desktop or door for wealthy individuals. Very sad.Why havent we learned, trees like this should be protected.Trees like that should be protected and severe punishment should be the norm worldwide for those that seek a few bucks is nothing sacred on this planet……….. unless diseased then fair enough.I’ll bet that tree is nearly a thousand years old. Trees are the lungs of the planet, when they’re gone, so are we!
